Our July charity auction to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, was a little extra special for our local disc golf community. They’ve recently lost one of their own, a great friend and team member. Our goal with this month’s auction was to help raise awareness.

The grassroots work that the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention does focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide by; delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide.

With the help of some local disc golfers we auctioned off 12 hard to find, unique discs. All proceeds going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, with the hopes of helping others find their way out of the darkness.
